About RegulationLab

About RegulationLab

RegulationLab was created from a simple observation:
high-performing people are overwhelmed, overstimulated, and expected to operate at full capacity without ever being taught how to regulate themselves.

Most corporate wellness offerings focus on productivity hacks, motivation talks, or surface-level perks. RegulationLab takes a different approach.

We work with the nervous system.

When the nervous system is regulated, people think more clearly, communicate more effectively, and execute with consistency. Focus improves. Reactivity drops. Decision-making sharpens. This isn’t theory—it’s physiology.

RegulationLab designs guided, art-based experiences that help teams slow down long enough for clarity to return. Not through lectures. Not through therapy. And not through forced “team bonding.”

Through experience.

Why Regulation Matters

Modern work environments reward urgency, constant output, and cognitive overload. Over time, this pushes people into chronic stress states—without them even realizing it.

A dysregulated nervous system leads to:

  • mental fatigue and scattered focus
  • reactive communication and emotional friction
  • burnout masked as “high performance”
  • inconsistent execution despite strong talent

RegulationLab creates space for teams to reset their nervous systems so they can return to work calmer, clearer, and more aligned—without losing momentum.

Our Approach

For many people, traditional meditation feels difficult—not because they’re doing it wrong, but because their minds are already overstimulated. When the nervous system is highly activated, stillness can feel inaccessible.

RegulationLab uses a guided, hands-on process that gently pulls attention out of the head and into the body. By engaging the hands and senses, the mind is given a simple place to land—allowing mental noise to settle naturally rather than through effort or force.

The focus isn’t on creating something impressive—it’s on the internal state people access while creating.

Why This Works

Many high-performing people struggle with traditional meditation because their minds are busy, analytical, and constantly processing. Asking those minds to suddenly “be still” often creates more tension, not less.

RegulationLab works because it doesn’t rely on people being “good at meditation.”

In high-pressure environments, the mind is often too active for stillness-based practices to land. RegulationLab uses a guided, hands-on process that redirects attention out of mental loops and into a simple physical focus.

This allows the nervous system to settle naturally, which leads to clearer thinking, calmer communication, and more consistent execution—without requiring belief, effort, or prior experience.

Who It’s For

RegulationLab works with:

  • corporate teams and leadership groups
  • sales teams preparing for goals, quarters, or transitions
  • organizations navigating growth, pressure, or change
  • schools and educational environments focused on emotional regulation and focus

Each experience is adapted to the group, the goals, and the space.

The Founder

RegulationLab was founded by Marion Deoferio, whose background spans finance, high-performance environments, and nervous system-based practices.

After years working in high-pressure professional settings, Marion saw firsthand how capable, intelligent people struggle—not because they lack skill or motivation, but because their nervous systems are overloaded.

RegulationLab is the result of that insight.

Her work is grounded, practical, and experience-led—designed for people who value clarity, performance, and emotional intelligence, but don’t want anything performative or forced.

What We Believe

  • Regulation precedes performance
  • Calm is not passive—it’s powerful
  • People don’t need more information; they need better internal conditions
  • When the nervous system is supported, clarity follows naturally.

RegulationLab exists to help teams slow down strategically—so they can move forward with intention, focus, and momentum.
